Can you believe it? Labor Day is here and the summer is over. Lots of good things are happening at the Lodge Labor Day weekend. Come and join us! The book and DVD sale will be on Saturday, Sept 4th. All the proceeds for this event will go to the ENF fund.
September is going to be a busy month. We have the First Responders on 9/11, the Oktoberfest on the 19th, and the District Deputy visit will be on the 22nd. We need to have a good attendance for this meeting. Don’t let us have all the fun without you.
I am looking forward to the Drawdown on October 30th. It has always been a fun time for me, even though I have yet to win anything. In November, we will have a dance with proceeds going to the ENF. Read your newsletter for the times and dates of these and other events.
It has been a good year so far, thanks to all the committee chairpersons and their members. You guys make it all look easy.
Hopefully by the time you read this the dining room will have a new coat of paint and we will be on the way to resolving our air conditioning issues. The Trustees have been working on this for some time. The air conditioner will be a large project, but it is long overdue.
